Job Description
This full time, permanent first shift Metal Manufacturing Process Engineer opportunity is at a construction, agriculture, and automotive component manufacturer that is expected to have annual sales growth of 33%. The career path could lead to a Quality Engineering Manager, Production Manager, or getting more involved in supplier quality. The environment is about getting product out the door while still having an enjoyable workplace.
Duties and responsibilities include the following:
Evaluating, designing and improving the manufacturing process
Creating best practices
Overseeing the manufacturing process improvement implementation and operation
Being responsible for reducing costs, maintaining efficiency and improving profitability
Maximizing the production process
Evaluating costs, time and risks
The background of the successful candidate should include the following:
A four year Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree
Four or more years of manufacturing process improvement experience
Two or more years of experience in a metal manufacturing environment
Four or more years of experience evaluating, designing and improving the manufacturing process
A solid work history
A US citizen or possess a green card
A residence within 45 minutes
