Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for reviewing and preparing loan documentation and mortgage files, verifying customer documentation, working directly with customers and loan officers to execute the closing in timely and efficient manner and answering general customer service inquiries.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: ?a Work closely with Loan Officers which may include gathering information or interviewing customers a Maintain customer loan accounts and ensure all information is complete. a Verify the loan records contain proper signatures, dates and other date and question the applicant if any information is missing. a Answer loan questions that come in via person, over the phone or email a Research loan issues or questions a Be actively aware of and collect needed tax returns and financial statements from credit memo customers a Understanding of necessary rules and regulations associated with loan processing. a Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that demonstrates you get along with customers, co-workers, and management a Meet closing deadlines on purchase and refinance transactions a Verify DU (Desktop Underwriter) and Underwriting guidelines are met a Work with title companies to perfect lien position and collateral Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
